Happy Fourth of July weekend! As we celebrate the spirit of this great nation—one built on vision, determination and resilience—it’s only fitting that we gather under open skies, watching fireworks rise and brighten the landscape. The beauty of this view reminds us not only of America’s promise, but also of the importance of keeping our eyes on the horizon.
The times we’re living in can be turbulent. Yes, headlines will swirl with unsettling news from overseas conflicts to trade disputes and budget debates, but history tells us these headline-grabbers rarely shape your personal story over the long term. Worry less about the daily explosions and more about your horizon. If you’re saving steadily and continuing to pursue your long-term goals, then today’s anxieties will eventually fade into background noise—just as last year’s fireworks have drifted out of memory.
This year let’s remember our national story of the courage it takes to choose a better future, and it starts with a declaration. I’ve included some helpful info to know below. If you’d like to discuss ways to strengthen your strategy, I’m always here for a conversation. Enjoy the festivities.
