Take a moment to straighten your posture and breathe deeply. Feel that? Do you sense that spring is coming? With it, I feel a renewed hope for the future.
In light of everything that happened last year, most of us likely felt overwhelmed at some point— either with news or family or with our finances. Women especially took a huge hit in 2020, according to reports of a “she-cession.” In times of turmoil, I’ve found it helpful to breathe, focus on my goals and take the next step forward — even if it’s small. That way, you can build forward momentum.
In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, let’s take stock of the strong women we know who kept striving through 2020. Let’s take a page from their playbook and keep stepping forward.
