Metamorphosis

This week I’ve watched trees and plants simply explode into growth. The entire neighborhood is suddenly lush and green. Just like us, we’ve been dormant for over 10 weeks and now we are ready to burst forth as our towns and cities begin metamorphosing.

An important part of a financial strategy is planning for change. We’ve just undergone a historical change on a personal, career, and economic level. What will happen as we emerge from our chrysalis like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly? Although the metamorphosis process for caterpillars is a mystery to scientists, it’s not a mystery for financial strategy.

Getting the basics of your strategy in place – long-term goals, keeping spending in check, and minimizing debt will help you to weather extreme change and emerge renewed.
